What the Conversation Helper sends

When you select “Create my conversation guide,” the child’s age and the question or situation you enter are sent to OpenAI through Lovable AI Gateway, along with instructions for creating age-appropriate suggestions. The generated guide is returned to this page. Please do not include names, contact details, or other identifying information about you, your child, a donor, or anyone else.

The helper does not require an account. It is intended for parents and caregivers, not for children to submit personal information themselves.

Questions and generated guides

We do not save your questions or generated guides to this site’s database or browser storage. They remain in the current page while you use the helper and are cleared when you reload or leave the page. We do not add helper submissions to mailing lists or order records.

The AI request is configured not to store the response as OpenAI conversation history. This is not a promise that no service logs exist: Lovable and OpenAI handle requests under their own privacy and data-processing policies, and operational or error logs may be retained. Please avoid sharing sensitive or identifying details.

Visitor analytics and site operation

We use Lovable visitor analytics to understand visits, page views, pages people read, and traffic sources, where available. These reports help us improve the site. Your helper question is not deliberately included in analytics events by this site.

Hosting services also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as request and error information. If you sign in to the private dashboard, browser storage is used to maintain your sign-in session. The public Conversation Helper does not need that sign-in.

Book orders and production

Purchase links take you to Shopify, which handles checkout, payments, and orders. Information such as your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details is collected there under Shopify’s privacy practices. We use order information to manage purchases, and Lulu Direct receives the information needed to print and deliver your book.

Your Conversation Helper question is not sent to Shopify or Lulu Direct as part of an order. Read the Shopify privacy policy and Lulu privacy policy for more information.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to share so we can respond. For privacy questions or requests about information associated with your order or email correspondence, contact hello@leoasksbigquestions.com. Please do not send sensitive family details.
